Risk of hepatitis A is very high for travellers. Hepatitis A is a viral hepatitis (liver) disease usually acquired through ingestion of contaminated food or water and can be prevented if the travellers get hepatitis A vaccine before their travel.

Hepatitis A vaccine can be given over the age of one. If you get a booster dose of hepatitis A after about 6-12 months then the vaccine is good for long time perhaps life.
